Yoga for the Mind
Yoga is stopping mind activities or thoughts.
The following 3 simple exercises will help you understand your mind.
Exercise #1: Watch and count your thoughts for 2 minutes with a stopwatch on a daily basis. How many thoughts did you think in that time? What were the subjects of the thoughts? Were the thoughts positive or negative?
Exercise #2: Be alert and watch the entry of thoughts for 2 minutes. Don’t analyze them; simply observe them dispassionately.
Exercise #3: For 2 minutes observe each thought that comes to you. Does it make you happy or unhappy or is the effect neutral?
